Project Server 2007 install

I am trying to install Project Server 2007 in one of my servers here. I can
run through the deployment document and get the Server install up. I do not
have clarity on the service packs that needs to be installed for Project
Server 2007. Please let me now the version of the service pack that needs to
be installed. if i should connect to this instance of project server from
Project 2007 client, what is the service pack that i should install for the
Project 2007 client? Please guide

Hi Kannan,

I've always just installed the original realesed product, made sure
everything is working, (PS, WSS, Project Client, Cube building etc), and then
upgraded to the latest SP (eg SP2) and CUs on the server and client as
required. This is all well documented, you just have to be methodical.

Thanks for the reply Ben. I asked the question bcos, i have the confusion on
the install of SP1 or SP2. I was not sure as to what needs to be installed.
Can i take that, the latest service pack that is out for the product needs to
be installed once we are done installing?

Indeed, just install after you have completed the install from the DVD.
