Hi,

I'm trying to install Project Server 2007 on my Windows 2003 R2 x64 Standard
Edition server and am having some problems. I've got SharePoint Services 3.0
installed (which required me to install IIS 6.0 with ASP and enable it in
Extensions) and the .NET Framework 3.0 installed. I've also installed all of
the critical and optional updates for the server (including SP2). The server
is configured as a domain member server in Active Directory and I would like
to set it up to use a small farm so that I can use SQL Server 2005 which is
installed on another server. The problem is that when I run setup it doesn't
give me any choice other than "Stand-Alone" for server type. According to the
documentation, there should be a "Basic" and "Advanced" option, but there's
not. The "Complete" and "Web Front End" options are there but are greyed out.

Can someone help me?

Thanks,
Jacob.

If you have already installed WSS, and are adding Project Server to an
existing farm, then it will automatically use the topology of that farm.

To make life much easier, I would suggest removing the existing WSS install
then run the Project Server Setup (which also installs WSS).
