Project Server 2007 installation onto SharePoint Server 2007

When running the installation for Project Server then running the
configuration Wizard for SharePoint Services the wizard fails around the 11th
step with the following error from the Log:

regkey by setting the mode to none

timer job failed. Return -1.

Any idea about the timer issue?
