Arun

Hi,
We are using project Server 2007. Whether it is possible to do the
following in Issues and Risks section and how can I do that

1. Assign a Issue/risk to multible persons.
2. Is it possible to send the alert CC to Project Manager.
3. Alert to Project Manager when the status changed.
4. Customize the Alert Message.
5. Alert to the project Manager when the issue is not closed eventhough the
due date finished.

Thanks in advance,
Arun

Hello Arun

I am not sure about all of them, I am sure someone else on here can give to
additional information but for 2,3 this is what I would do.

1. Go to the list and then click on the Actions button and then click on
Alert Me
2. Delete the names in the Send Alerts to box and enter the PMs name
3. Click ok (You can change the other information as required)

Hope that helps

Dave

Certainly for 1: you can edit the issue and risk forms to assign multiple
people.
For 5: you would need custom code I think.

Personally though IMHO too greater reliance on emails is a bad thing. I'd
rather set up a regular RISK/ISSUE meeting to run through them.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, how can I do that. Is it possiple to add a new
status to Issue/Risks status dropdown. In which database the risks and issue
tables are loacated.

Thanks,
Arun

Hi Arun,
You need to modify the issues list. This can be done via Settings | List
Settings. If you need to do it for all new workspaces then you'll need to
modify the default workspace template. This is detailed on MSDN.

Issues and risks are stored in the WSS content DB, and then synched to the
reporting DB at each project publish.
