Project Server 2007 - Task Updates/Publishing

Hello,
I have a large number of projects that I accept task updates for, and I find
it very cumbersome to have to publish them one at a time.
Could someone point me in the right direction as to how to have this done
automatically. I've heard some people were able to write scripts that would
do this for them.
I just need some direction, any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Jason

Hi Jason

IMO "publishing blind" is asking for trouble. How would you intend to
monitor the impact of updates to your schedules and maintain control of the
project?

Hi JP,

you do have the abillity to set rules which will accept your tasks
automatically, but I must agree with Paul. The whole idea is to introduce
governance. If you have a project schedule automatically published without
checking it this could mean disaster. At least this process is much easier
than the PM updating all tasks manually. Now the PM can concentrate on
managing projects, not conducting adminstrative work.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the feedback. You make valid points and I agree it's better to
have governance.
