2007?!! and Microsoft Office Project Portfolio Server 2007?!!
I have downloaded the Beta 2 and planning on using them tomorrow.

Hello,

The documentation is good for installing Project Server 2007, but there is
nothing about Portfolio Server 2007.

I'm trying to figure out how to configure PPS 2007 to work with PS2007
without sucess.

If you mange to configure, send me the steps please.

Hi,

I am trying to find out how to add a default resource rate/cost in the
enterprise resource pool. When I click on Tools ==> Enterprise Options ==>
Open Enterprise Resource Pool, this takes me to the Resource Center on PWA.
There's no cost/rate field for a given resource to fill on Resource Center so
when I close this window, I have an empty Resource Sheet view on the
Checked-Out Enterprise Resources page of MSP Pro client. I see the Std. Rate
field here but no resources to attach to. Can someone help point me in the
right direction?

Thx....Jeff

If you are trying to update existing resources, you need to check the boxes
next to the resources you want to edit when you see the Resource Center PWA
page within Project Pro and then click the Open... button in the tool bar or
under the Actions menu.

Then it will open those selected resources in the Resource Sheet where you
can add the cost data.

Hope this helps,

Jonathan

Thanks Jonathan....since this has been the single most helpful resource so
far wrt MSPS 2007, I have another question.

After time has been booked (i.e. actuals accepted) against a project plan,
is there a way for the project manager to adjust the actuals w/o having to
have the individual resources do this? Or would the PM have to "log in" as
the resource in order to do this?
