We have a stand alone Project 2003 server and SharePoint server on a Windows
2003 Standard server. The service account (is actually a user account) had
the password changed on it and at that point, when a project was created, it
was unable to create a SharePoint site for the project and we would get the
following error message:
006~ASP 0177~Server.CreateObject Failed~8000401a
Windows Sharepoint Services remote administration
The guy who administers the Projects server trouble shot the issue by
running the PSComPlus.exe utility and doing some "other" things that he was
unable to articulate to me. Things are running better however now when
someone creates a project, the owner of the project is not automatically
assigned. Any ideas?
