Project Server and Accounting Software?

My goal with our Project Server implementation is to have our
developers enter billable time into PWA and have accounting software
(preferably MS) configured that enables me to "click a button" and
generate invoices to all customers who had time entered in for their
projects and brief descriptions of the work done etc. This would save
us lots of re-entry and make us more accurate.

The research I've done seems to indicate that Solomon would fit
somewhat well here, but our accounting needs (and the types of reports
we require) are very simple - So I don't know that we need quite such
and expensive solution or implementation. MS-Small Business Accounting
doesn't seem to have an open back end so that doen't seem to fit so in
between those we have Small Business Financials or Great Plains - and
GP is probably a bit more robust than we would need as well - but if
that's works we'd certainly go with it...

Does anyone have any experience trying to integrate Project Server with
these various levels of accounting software or ideas on initial
direction?
