Project Server and Active Directory

Hello all

I'm trying to install project server 2007 using Active Directory users
for authentication and for the PWA himself. I see on the web a lot of
information about synchronizing the AD users with PS, but nothing about
installation.

I've tried to make a stand alone installation, and then, after put the
machine on the domain, I've tried to configure SSP to connect to AD, but
he doesn't detect it.

This is probably something very simple, but I'm not very familiar with
Microsoft technology.

Can you people point some directions please?

Thanks

Hello and thank your answer, but I already did that. Some more details:

When I go to "Active Directory Enterprise Resource Pool Synchronization
" on PWA I get the message:

There was a problem accessing the Active Directory global catalog. Check
that the following are true. 1. The Shared Services Provider (SSP)
server can access an Active Directory domain controller hosting a copy
of the global catalog. 2. The Windows account used for the SSP service
credentials can read from the global catalog.

Then on SSP Service Credentials I have the user NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK
SERVICE.

Besides that, this instalation since it's for testing purposes it's a
single server one.

Thank you
