Project server and existing WSS

I have an existing sharepoint services site and have just installed Project
Server.

I would like to use the existing WSS (different server).

Is this possible?

Bill:

The short answer is 'yes' but you should create a new virtual server on the
existing box and then extend it with SharePoint. Next, use WSSWIZ.exe to add
the Project Server specific customizations.
