project server and SharePoint Portal ?

Hello Guys, I Just installed Project sever 2003 as well as SharePoint Portal
2003 on

Win2003. I can connect to Project web site, as well as SharePoint Portal
Admin site.



The problems occur when I try to hit default Share point Portal site - I'm
getting

this error : Cannot connect to the configuration database.

When I was installing stuff all DBs were created ok, I can see them from
SQL 2000

server. Accounts also looks like fine.

Any ideas what is wrong here?

Sigitas:

The two applications are incompatible when installed on the same server.
Project Server can connect to Portal server, however it breaks Portal server
when installed on the same machine.
