I am building a new install of Project Server 2003 using sharepoint 2.0 and
SQl server 2002. I have installed Sharepoint 2.0 into the default website and
created workspace and database content area. I want to use SSL access as we
have external users for the web interface. I can get the web interface
working with a self created certificate the problem I have is when I try to
create the account connection in Project Pro Client it warns me of the
certificate and whether I want to view and install it. I do this then the
connection fails with error messages The server could not proccess your
request or an internal server error occurred. If i clear the requires SSL on
the default web site and try and connect with the client using normal HTTP no
problems occur. I am not sure how to go about resolving this issue.
thanks Michael
