Hi,
Here is my case. When i was assigned in our company to take over the Project
Server administration, Project Proffesional users are experiencing the
spooler error "SYSTEM ERROR 0x80004005". I tried installing Project Server on
a Test server and was unable to replicate the problem as stated above.
I was thinking, maybe the one who installed Project Server has messed up the
installation before that's why it's a recurring problem in our project
professional user. I found the solution to the spooler problem at:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;838882
however they Microsoft said that it is advisable to wait for the next
Service Pack just to be sure.
A solution that i was thinking is to reinstall the project server properly
however the Project server is already in use and i am not sure if i will be
able to restore it to the right state after the reinstallation.
Is it possible to backup the Project Server Database -> reinstall project
server and Restore the backed up Project Server database ???
OR
Can i back up an instance of a Project Server site and its database, then
restore it in an entirely different server and still work normally ?
