Project Server Backup & Recorvery

Vaibhav

Hellow,

1. I have installed Project Server 2003 & Sharepoint Portal Server in my
Office.
2. I gone through the disaster recovery guide of Microsoft for desining the
backup & restore policy for Project Server.
3. I found that only the backup of SQL Server database is possible,
4. I had taken the backup of my Existing Project Server, then I installed
project server on a dummy server. The I had restored my sql server backup on
to that dummy server. But when I try to log on to Project Web Access, I am
getting error "Can not connect to Project Server Database".
5. Are there any specific steps to restore the backp for Project Server?
6. Is there any built in tool for Backup & Recovery of Project Server like
"Sharepoint Portal Server Backup & Recovery Tool"

Waiting for your valuable reply,

Vaibhav:

You need to delete the MSProjectServerUser and MSProjectUser SQL logons from
the restored database, and add the ones created during your new
installation. You should download the Site Editor tool to test your system.
