Project Server cannot find the specified project....

We receive this error when we attempt to open a project timeline from the
Project Center. We are running Project Server 2007 SP1 w/Dec cumulative
applied to both the server and the Project Pro 2007 client. If I click the
'Edit' button with the client closed it fires up Project Pro and the
following error message appears
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Project Server was unable to find the specified project.

The project was not found on Project Server. Some possible reasons include:
-The project has not yet been saved successfully to the server.
- The project has been deleted on the server.
If the project is available in the Local Project Cache, you can choose the
File menu, select "Work Offline" and then open the project. If the problem
continues, contact your server administrator.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The problem is I am the server administrator. :)

As soon as they click OK to get out of the error message they also receive
another error: There is not enough memory to complete this operation. To free
up available memory, close programs, projects, or windows you aren't using,
and then try again.

This isnt the issue - we have several PWA instances that are just fine and
this can be reproduced on any number of client machines.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated - thank you.

It could be the administrator's profile on that PC. Worth deleting it and
seeing if that cures it.

Thanks.

We figured out what the issue is - we have a naming convention for some of
our projects that use multiple spaces as a separator and this is causing the
issue. I assume it is similar to errors thrown by other special characters if
you include those in the project name. At any rate be careful using any
special characters or anything out of the ordinary!
