Project Server conneting to Sharepoint problems

I've just installed MS PROject Server. In connecting to a SP Portal Server
I'm getting an error that "The specified Web server is not extended with
Windows SharePoint Services or it is not accessible wia http protocals."

When I go to check it seems all the sites are extended. Any thoughts?

Try posting on the server newsgroup. Please see FAQ Item: 24. Project

Sorry Mike, I looked for one on the crazy huge list under servers, office,
etc. and couldn't find it. I still need help.

Hi Bryan,

I gather from what you said that the FAQ didn't help. I presume that is
because you're using web access rather than a news reader. If so, you
probably started from this web page:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/com...spx?lang=en&cr=US&dg=microsoft.public.project
which is for the general desktop version of Project. In the margin on the
left, hover your mouse over Microsoft Project and select the Server
newsgroup.
