Project Server - Data Analysis

Hi,

My company uses both Project Pro 2007 and Project Server. I need to create
a view on Project Server that shows the resources that have been assigned to
tasks; the tasks' duration; and if the resource is overallocated. I went to
Server Setting; Look and Feel; Manage Views; clicked on Create New; and now
I'm at a complete lost. I'm struggling with which fields to select. Any
ideas are greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much,

You can get most of what you want from a project view. Before you go to
manage look and feel, first go to the Project Center, select a project by
clicking the project name and use the view selector and look at the existing
views, particularly the resource selections. The easiest way to create a new
project view in PWA is to base it on an existing view.

The one exception is the overallocation information, as this is a loaded
term. You need to clarify what you're looking for exactly. Resources can be
overallocated by as little as a minute. Generally speaking, you use various
tools in PWA and Project to see resource overallocation depending on what
you want to do with the information.
