Project Server Development & Licensing

Steve

I need to stand up a Project Server at home for development and personal
training. I tried to use an evaluation copy, but it won't allow me to
install it on my regular WSS box. I don't really want to pay for a full
license when I am the only one that will use this.

I have a Microsoft Action Pack subscription, but unfortunately it doesn't
seem to include Project Server. How does everyone else get access to the
server product?

Thanks

Steve

An MSDN subscription will allow you to download, and install for testing and
development. That is the way I do it.

Thanks, Jack. As it happens, our Integration and Development Branch has an
MSDN subscription so I was able to use their copy. As this is for work
anyway, I assume that I am allowed to install it. I don't know how EULAs
deal with work-at-home situations.

Steve
