Project server error

Hi guys,

got this error on the Application log of the server:

Component: PjQuery
File: C:\Office\devsp\project\WebClient\source\server\pjquery\CnxCookie.cpp
Line: 1266
Error Number: 0x80040e38
Description: <Description><![CDATA[Assert Detected for Virtual Root
'ProjectServer'. The error code was also included.]]></Description>

Component: Microsoft Cursor Engine
Description: <Description><![CDATA[Row cannot be located for updating. Some
values may have been changed since it was last read.]]></Description>

Search the microsoft website and cant find the exact match.

Given your previous post, I suggest that you restore the blank database
backup you made after installing. If you didn't make a backup, then you
should generate a new database and restore it over the old one.

Hi Gary,

i dont know if they created a back up of a blank database after the
installation. Correct me if im wrong, you mean, i need to create a new blank
data base and restore our existing database from the blank one? Kindly
explain to me why im going to this? Will this refresh/restore anything?

backup you made after installing. If you didn't make a backup, then you
should generate a new database and restore it over the old one.

It sounds as though you've corrupted your database. Because you're in a
testing phase, I thought it might be easier for you to simply restore a
backup rather than risking spending days attempting to recover from this
situation.
