Project server error

You need Microsoft Project Professional 2002 or 2003 in order to perform this
task.
Project server is working fine in Prod Environment and I created new Dev
environment and it is still throwing this error.

What are you doing when this error occurs? What version of Project are you
using, and which patch level?

Ganesh:

The most common cause of this error is when you take an action in Project
Web Access that invokes the Project Client. The cause of the error is that
the URL specified in the Project Server account is not the same one that you
are using to connect to PWA using the browser. For instance, if your Project
Server account URL uses machinename/pwa and you are loading PWA by going to
projectserver.mycompany.com.
