Project Server Integration with SharePoint problem

Hi,

We are having problem creating SharePoint sites for Projects. I am using
Microsoft Office Project Web Access to create sites for the Projects residing
on Project Server (Specifically, Admin tab and then use the link "Manage
Windows SharePoint Services" and then "Manage SharePoint sites"). Creating
sites for Projects takes me to another page, where I get a popup which says
"Error occured when creating site. Site does not seem to exist". There are
some project for which a SharePoint site was created previously. Clicking on
the URL for such sites, leads to a page which displays the text "Unable to
connect to database. Check database connection information and make sure the
database server is running."

Can you help me figuring out what the problem could be? Could it be a
problem with the DBAs changing the password for the user account "sa"
frequently and Project Server trying to access the SharePoint site database
using the account with the old password. If so, how can we ensure that it
uses the correct password or a different account.

Thanks in advance.

Radha
