Project Server on Desktop

I have project 2003 professional installed on a capable machine [3.6Ghz/4GB
Memory/ 3 500Gb SATA drives] I would want to install Project Server 2003 on
a separate drive or virtual drive. I am connected to the internet via DSL
This installation would not be for true 'production'. My goal is to achieve
client/server interaction with my deskop from outside my home with four other
hobbyists. Out goal is to gain competency in the installation, configuration
and administration of this product. I can find no step by step guidance on
this. Specific guidance would be appreciated greatly.

I'd work with 2007 if I were you. 2003 is now off mainstream support.

This is generally regarded as quite a difficult thing to set up. Many
organisations pay professional consultants to do this on their behalf.

Can I ask out of curiosity why you want to do this as a hobby?
