Project Server Permissions Question

Hi,

I have a customer who wants users to only be able to save projects to the
Project Server database that were created from an Enterprise template (as
opposed to projects opened from mpp files).

Is there a way to enforce this through the global and category permissions?
I initially thought that if the New Project permission was disabled, this
would do it, but this does not allow the user to create a new project of any
type, regardless of whether it was created from a template or not.

Any ideas?

The default Project Server permissions prevent a project manager from
publishing an .mpp file, but do not prevent a project manager from saving an
..mpp file to the Project Server database. Therefore, I believe you need to
make this a training and performance issue with your customer's project
managers. Teach them now to import .mpp projects into the Project Server
database using Tools - Enterprise Options - Import Project to Enterprise,
and then ask your customer to hold them accountable for their performance on
this issue. Hope this helps.
