Project Server/Professional 2002

I've read the Project Professional help file about adding resources to the
list of enterprise resources, but, though it states to use Tools>Enterprise
Options>Open Enterprise Resource Pool, all Enterprise Options are grayed out,
although I can publish to the server fine. What I want is a central
file/location for adding/editing resources (people and materials/equipment)
that the engineers can then pull into their individual projects so they can
schedule people and equipment to do work. This sounds pretty much textbook,
but i am having a hard time finding any documentation on it.

Thanks.

Davel:

If all the enterprise options are grayed out, then you're not connected to
the server. Instead, you're publishing non-enterprise data to the system. To
connect to the server correctly, go back to Tools > Enterprise Options - One
option should not be grayed out: Project Server Accounts. Create an account
here, exit out of Project and restart it. You should now be able to connect
to Project Server and begin to use it correctly.
