We are in the process of allowing team members to access Project Server via
PWA. Team Members type in the correct address in the URL and are presented
with the License Agreement which they agree to and press the NEXT button. At
this point in time, one of two things will happen:
1) The user will be presented with intallation updates (MS Project 2003 SP2
upgrades), selecting them will allow continuation and the use gains access
to PWA as expected. or
2) the user gets an error message saying the updates were not performed, and
is now allowed access to PWA.
It appears that the successful users have MS Project 2003 installed on their
computers and the unsuccessful users do not hve MS Project 2003 installed on
their computers. Is MS Project 2003 a required product in order to access
PWA? It seems that PWA is a substitute for MS Project...
Thanks,
