I'm working on a project management solution for a client involving Microsoft
Project Professional and Server 2007. Based on the requirements we've been
given, it appears that Project will meet all of our needs. However, I've got
a few questions with which I'd appreciate some help.
The specific questions that I have are:
1. Are network diagrams supported by Project Server 2007. That is, can
they be viewed directly from the Project Web Access screens, without the use
of a local instance of Microsoft Project Professional 2007 on the user’s
computer?
2. What would be the best way of hosting an instance of Microsoft
Project Professional 2007 that we could make accessible to users that do not
have this version installed on their local machine? Our users are running
Project 2003 which is incompatible with the desired features of Project
Server 2007 and we will most likely be unable to install Project Professional
2007 on their machines.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
