Project server requirements

Hello Everyone,

Is there a guide to properly size a MS Project Server? I saw the
requirements on MS web site, and it seemed vague. In the description,
Microsoft states that the min requirements are to install all necessary
components. I don't know anyone who would install SQL server on a system
with only a 550MHZ Pentium III. Is there a guide to size the server based
on number of users, tracking x number of projects having a the SQL database
on a cluster?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I agree; however, you can use the configuration & planning guide to help you
as well. Sometimes is is nice to know the magnitude of the project data such
as how many projects does the team expect o have and, how many tasks per
project. Just use your best judgement and I believer you will be fine. The
degradation seems to be mostly at the network speed level; especially, with
PWA. I have read that PWA is a bandwith hog.
