Project Server Restoration

We created a new server, for QA (quality assurance) and what i did was i
backup the database of our Production database (ProjectServer) after setting
up the new server (which is a single server, where everything will be
installed including the sql)i restored the Project database. Now when i go to
the PWA on setting the sharepoint sites, i change the server and port name
(i.e http://projectproduction:1234 to http://projectqa:4567) and when i save
the changes, it prompts me to extend the sharepoint site. so i go to the IIS
administration, have it extended, when i access the site again, it didnt show
up, the 'page cannot be displayed' error appears. Did i miss something or is
there a best way to do this..bottom line, to replicate the production to the
QA using same databases. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply...but my problem now after restoring the database, when
i go to the sharepoint configuration , where i need to rename the sharepoint
server and port, it prompts that an error..what will i do? is there a way on
the sql tables to rename and point the ports to the new one?
Thanks again

What i mean was, when i go to the administration page at the PWA site, on the
configure the sharepoint central administration page and the sharepoint site
where sites will be created, the default setting was on the production
server, since i installed this on our QA server, and i already set up a QA
machine, i need to change the site name and port number. When i view the site
using IIS manager, i can see it, but when i change the setting and clicked
OK, it says that the site is not accessible.. how can i configure this??
thanks!!
