Project Server Security Logon appears twice

Hello!

Since last Tuesday (nothing was done before this day), my clients have the
following situation: If they select "Connect" on Project Server Accounts, the
Project Server Security Logon screen appears and they have to say cancel once
and again "Connect" before it connects to the project server. For those
whose connection is automatic, the PS Security Logon screen appears af first,
they have to cancel it anyway.

Is there any solution for this problem?

Moreira,

Did your organization recently start using McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8i?

If so, that is your culprit. There is a dll conflict between Project Server
and McAfee. There was a fix for it, but SP2 anulled it, but did not include
the hotfix. A new hotfix was due shortly after SP2, but since SP2 was
recalled and reissued, I don't know if they included this hotfix in SP2a.

Not much help, but at least you may know the reason for this behavior now.
