Project Server / SharePoint Authentication Problem

A

Anthony

We have users accessing their time sheets through SharePoint. Some users are
having problems where it prompts them for their Windows Domain ID and
Password. When they enter the info, which is the same as their SharePoint
ID/Passwd, it gives an Error saying "Access Requests are not enabled". Our
SharePoint admin is not in this week and not reachable. But the odd thing is
that it only does this for certain people. Everyone belongs to the same user
group in Project Server and the users who can't access it via SharePoint can
still get authenticated through the PWA. I suspect SharePoint is somehow not
passing their authentication credentials to Project Server, but we don't know
why it's only for certain users. Please Help!

thanks

The problem could be that these users are not added to the sharepoint
site. Solution would be to go to your sharepoint site, click on Site,
manage users and then add these users to the site using the domain\user
format.

The users can currently access SharePoint using their domain/ID and password,
so that isnt the case. Its only when they try to access their time sheet from
SharePoint (which is linked to Project Server) that is the problem. any other
ideas?

Thanks
