You could disable the com plus components for Sharepoint, but this would also
disable the automaitc site creation. Not sure thats that you want.

Thanks for the reply!.

I don't think that will help, since that will cause all of the
sharepoint functionality to stop working. Just to rephrase my earlier
question, i am still linking Sharepoint sites to projects using PWA,
but i just don't want users to be added to these sites by Project
Server.

Just to clarify.

You are publishing a project and letting the server auto-create the SP web
site and don't want the users automaticaly added. Hope thats right or this
reply will be useless

I'm wondering what would hapen if you were to create custom groups and not
use the defaults (project manager, team memeber blah blah). The linking is
done by group name and I wonder if its hard coded. If it is then it wouldnt
map any of oyur custom group people. Just a thought..

Also when creating subwebs you do have the option of not inheriting
permissions from the parent web..
