In the past, I marked an enterprise resource user as inactive. The
user has come back to our division. Whenever I try to uncheck
"inactive", I get the same message: Project Server was unable to
process the request. An invalid node name parameter was specified.

The change "uncheck" is not saved.
Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks,
Scott

Yes I have and it is pretty annoying. I posted a similar question in
February of 2004 without receiving any responses.

I have eight (8) such accounts in my enterprise table at the present
time. They never would work again so my solution was to change the
name to "invalid node #" so I could isolate them from the other
resources and not touch them again. I would then create a new resource
with the persons name and start over.

I will be interested if anyone can offer a proper solution to this bug.

I found the solution to this. Well not really the "solution" but at
least a way around it that does not require you to edit the DB.

Modify the User in the PWA admin Manage Users and Groups page and
change the user back to Active status there.

I have sent this to MS as a possible bug.
