Project Server web access via ssh tunnel

Hi,
I'm trying to access a project server web interface from outside the
lan via a ssh tunnel.
I forwarded port 80 correctly, but IE hangs while loading the first
page.
I also forwarded port 1433 which is needed by the activex component to
access the sql server. Still no luck.
Am I missing something?
