Project Server with SharePoint

R

Roger William

Hi

Can i configure Project Server to work with SharePoint at a later stage
after the installation. I mean if i install Project Server the ordinary way
then can i later integrate it with SharePoint Server? Will there be any
issues? Or should i install it the way it should work with the SharePoint,
in the first hand?

Thanks,

Roger

The answer is yes, however there are more manual steps you'll need to
perform when you do finally install and integrate to Project Server. The
installation routine, if you're following the installation guide, does a
bunch of stuff for you that you'll need to take on yourself such as: Running
Proxyconfig, setting up the COM object identity, updating SharePoint's
managed paths, and probably one or two other steps I'm not awake enough to
remember.<g>

Provided you're willing to take on the additional responsibility, there's
absolutely nothing wrong with this approach.
