Project Sever 2002 and multiple Teams

One department in our organization has been using Project Server 2002 for
some time. We now have several other areas of the company that would like
to use it. Is there a way to separate multiple departments/temas in Project
Server? For example we do not want one department seeing anothers projects
(unless of course the project involves both dept's).

Any insight is greatly appreciated.
