Project sharepoint site naming.

hi Folks,
is it possible to change the naming convention of the sharepoint sites
created ?

like can i name them by project name instead of default ?

Hi Ashish,

Not that I am aware of. If you were to find such a way, I would not
recommend it. This is primarily because there are a growing number of
third-party tools out there that make use of this standardized naming schema
to provide any number of additional capabilities (enhanced SharePoint
functionality, InfoPath forms, etc.).

Also, I would not recommend it because Project does make use of the unique
Web Project ID in the URL to have a linkage with the MS Project database.
