The task lists generated by the workgroup should work like autofiltering
works. When you use auto filtering, the summary tasks are included to help
users identify tasks. Please remember that most users copy "sub-projects"
into the master project so that many of the tasks are have generic names
which must be associated with the summary tasks for identification.

specification bob
schematic bob
layout john
fabrication susan
workgroup task list for Bob
specification
schematic
with 37 printed circuit boards in a project, how does bob know which board
he is responsible for?

True: I wasn't referring to the workgroup messages specifically, but
generallly throughout projects if you need to show their origin.
