Project shows Checkin Pending, but not visible on Force checkin pa

I have a project in 2007 that is published the 2007 server. When I look at
the Open Enterprise Projects it shows a Cashe status of Checkin Pending, and
will only open in Read only. However when I go to the server and the Force
Checkin page it is not there.

How do I get this checked in so that I can update the project?

There are several ways to handle this:

1. Click Tools - Local Project Cache - Cleanup Cache and then delete the
project from the cache.

2. Open the project Read-Only and then close it. Then try to open it
again. If it still opens Read-Only, close it again. And then try to open
it one more time. By doing this one or two times, the system will actually
finish the Checkin process for the project and then allow you to open it
Read/Write. Go figure.
