Project Specific Security in PWA

M

Michelle D.

Hello, I have a project that is strictly confidential and can ONLY be viewed
by the "Super Admin" and the project manager. I don't even want the
Administrators (group) the ability to access the views and/or project within
PWA or to be able to change the access groups to provide themselves access.
I have attempted to created a "sub-admin" group, but that will be a
administrative nightmare (to add each new project to their group), in
addition, I have attempted to create a category "Deny" everyone all access,
as it relates to that project, however, that won't work as well, because the
one deny, overrides everything throughout the system. Any advise? Please
advise if you have any recommendations on a viable approach.

Are team members going to submit actuals to this one project through PWA?
If not, why don't you save the project as an .mpp file in a restricted
network folder and then delete the project from the Project Server database?
That would eliminate the security nightmare this project is creating for
you. Just a thought. I will gladly invite others to share their ideas as
well.
