Move Projectserver Database to a new machine
Backup Projectserver database from old SQL and restore
this
database to a new machine.
1. At SQL, Verify the user roles of these databse.
(Projectserver database, sharepoint database and cube.)
2. At Project Server, Verify the Sharepoint configuration
information.
3. At Project Server, Use the Edit site Utility to change
information such as SQL, user and password
(It is easy if create new accounts for MSProjectRole
and MSProjectserverRole)
4. Run PSCOMPlus.EXE and Proxycfg.exe
5. Modify SharePoint(Use information above)
(If need, Provision subweb for projects)
6. Rebuild the cube(if need name must match for Portfolio
View)
