Project Start and End Date is not consistent

Hi,

In the project information I have entered 5/17/2016 as Project Start Date and 9/14/2016 as Project End Date. In the Task Information I have entered series of tasks and Start as 5/17 and End as 9/14.

As I am entering the tasks the last is completed on 7/13 and for some reason the Project Finish Date now shows 7/13 instead of 9/14. This is so weird. I have tried several times to update the project start and end date to display

5/17 - 9/14 and the project schedule should start from start date. but then again it changes back 7/13 instead of showing 9/14.

I want to show 9/14 as end date so when I am estimating I can tell if I will be able to meet that date or not .

can anyone help ?

Hi Samantha,

It seems to me that your project will complete earlier i.e. 7/13 rather than 9/14, meaning you have successfully met your target date.
