project start and end in minutes

Hi, I'm using Project to model some things that will happen within the scop
of about 2 hours (I'm trying to make the project 2 hours long). I have the
Duration in minutes figured out and the Timescale in minutes figured out.
But I want to
1) Make a task that will, for example, start at 23 minutes and end at 33
minutes. The Start and End fields only allow dates. Is there a way to do
this or some other strategy? Setting "Work is entered in" to minutes under
Options->Schedule did not help.
And 2) I want to set the Project time to be a total of 2 hours.

Hi Glen,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Try Tools/Options.../View tab and select a Date Format that shows times.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: <http://www.mvps.org/project/>

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :))

Adding to Mike's comment, don't try to enter the times things start and end.
Enter the start date and time and enter your task durations in minutes.
With Mikes recommendation you'll be able to see the start and end date and
time both. Let Project calculate the rest.
