project still shows up as "sub-project" after removed from master

I've removed an existing project from a master, deleted the master and
now the remaining project is still flagged as a "sub-project".

How do I remove that status?

In the delete projects list. I answered my own ? When I
republished the "sub-project" after it had been removed from the
master, that took care of it.
