Project Task Issues Diasappearing

Hi,

I have a lot of linked Issues to tasks in different published projects. In
the Tasks Summary view of a Project, the Issues icon is against the tasks
with linked issues. This is reflected it the top line which also has the icon
(since Issues exist for the Project). Also, when looking at the Project
Centre view, the icon also appears for the Project.

However, my problem is that this is not happing for all Projects. When I
investigated the non-working projects, I found the Issues are correctly
linked to the tasks (and the icon shows at the task level), however, it is
not at the top level - and hence not visible in the Project Centre.

After reading other threads, I attempted to 'Synchronise With Project
Server' as suggested. This appeared to break all the links to the tasks and
now I cannot see which Task has any Issues (although they are still in the
Issues Register).

Any help will be greatly appreciated. The other problem that i have is that
this is going to be the method of tracking work item issues and if it is not
robust I am going to have to spend a lot of time re-linking the issues. Has
anyone used this approach for a while without any problems?
