Since use of master projects with Project Server does not work well, the best
alternative to reflect cross organizational dependencies is through external
project linking. However, with use of externally linked tasks, the project
summary percent complete does not include the percent complete of the
externally linked tasks (Task Summary and Project Summary percent complete).
We need the task summary percent complete, and most importantly the project
summary percent complete to include the externally linked tasks percent
complete in the overall percent complete rollup.
Have you encountered this issue, and if so, can you recommend a solution to
resolve this issue? Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you.
