Project Task Synchronization Problem

Hi,

We are using project server SP2 with project 2003.

We are having problems with the project client not completely synchronizing
with the project server.

Example - We deleted tasks from a user - they are not closing out in project
server, they still appear active (without the X in front of them)

Example - We finish tasks in project client (mark 100% complete) they are
not updating in project server (still showing resource has time to spend
against task)

Any suggestions would be appreciated as I have a big mess on my hands trying
to get these two systems to tick/tie.

Are you seeing errors in the server's Application Event Log?

Yes, we have consistently seen errors since the original install. Here's
some of the examples.

Most seen error:

First make sure your Project Server & Project Professional are current with
Service Pack level.

Project Server = SP2a
Project Professional = SP2

I've seen the similar issue you mentioned in your example 1. I deleted those
assignments from the DB & that removed those from appearing in user's
timesheet.
