Project tasks imported into Outlook

Outlook 2003, Project Server 2003

A while back I installed the plug-in to allow my Project Tasks to integrate
with Outlook. When I click on Import Assignments from Project Web Access, it
shows a list of all of my assignments and shows them as new....even though
most of them are from old projects and are complete. I have not moved
forward with Importing them because I am afraid that it could trigger a
completed assignment to show up as new in the PS database.

Does anyone have any thoughts? I will also be posting this question on the
Outlook

Hello Christina,

You can set the the option on Assignment Import on by doing following:

1) On Outlook, Tools menu -> Options -> Project Web Access

2) Under Assignment Import; Choose the Project Web Access date range

3) On PWA do the following on Timesheet view:

Using View Options, you can define date range of assignments OR You
can select "Current Tasks" from left menu option under Tasks Displayed

So, you can import only current assugnments to Outlook.

I haven't been able to try that until recently. But that did help quite a
bit! I was successful in only importing by current tasks.
