Project Time Keeping

With reference to track the time for projects for a specified period of time
say for the last 30 days, can MS project has the capability to show this
information.
I can look for the total amount of hours taken for that project from the
actual start date to end date, but if I want to look for just 30 days prior
to current date, is it feasible to do in MS project
THanks.

It's not clear what you actually want, but if you want to track time on
individual tasks for given periods, then I suggest you use the
"Cumulative Work" field in the Task Usage view.

This field shows the total amount of work carried out on a task so to
find the total amount of work for the previous 30 days on a task you
just have to subtract the cumulative work for a date 30 days ago from
the cumulative work for today.

To add the "Cumulative Work" field, right click on the time-phased area
of the grid, select 'Detail Styles' and scroll down in the left-hand
part of the dialogue box until you find 'Cumulative Work'.
