Project Timelines Settings Modifications

When a user opens a project plan into Project Pro 2007 from Project Server
2007 they have been making changes from column widths, changing views and
adding columns, modifying the Gantt format, etc. I do not think there is any
way to retain these settings when a project plan is published but I thought I
would ask the question. I know that we could define some of these elements in
the enterprise global as custom views but is there a setting to retain this
format info in the project plan itself? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Sure, Just create a new view for that project.

click on Views, more views. They can copy the current view they are
modifying. Rename it. Now when they make changes it will save for them as
long as they are looking at this view.
