Project Training

I am working as a Project manager in the Restaurant industry & I have tried
the Microsoft project soft ware.
I am sure that this program can help me a lot in my work, I have tried to
learn how to use it by myself but I don't think that I am using it correctly.

I would Like to know if there are some training session with a someone who
can help me with? Is it possible to get a training in NY? if yes, what would
be the price for a formation?

Another option is IIL (International Institute for Learning). Our company
has used both MS Project Experts and IIL and found them to be comparable.
Prices and schedules (they have in-class and e-learning sessions) are
availabel on the IIL website.

I recommend that you find someone who is truly familiar with Project, not
just a "pushbutton" trainer. That would mean someone who is familar with
CPM scheduling and can at least relate Projec t to it. I find a good
indicator is whether or not a person knows the Project feature it is most
necessary to turn off to schedule reliably. This would be "Autolink" tasks.
If they don't know that, they're not qualified.
